Thai Masaman Curry Set 79 g

This is the one of popular Thai Cuisine. The various kinds of spices such as bay leaves, cardamom, cumin, clove make this recipe very delicious. Like many from Thailand, shows a Muslim influence.

Preparation “Thai Masaman Curry”

  • 1 packet Masaman Curry Paste35 g
  • 1 packet Coconut Milk Powder40 g
  • 1 packet Dried Spices  4 g
    ( item marked are prepared in this pack)
    Chicken or preferred meat (cut into bite-sized pieces) 200 g
    Roasted peanuts 20 g
    Potatoes and onion (cut into bite-sized pieces) 60 g
    Water  240 ml (1 cup)
    Cooking oil 2 tbsp

How to cook

  1. Heat cooking oil in saucepan, stir fry Masaman Curry Paste for 1 minute on medium heat. Add meat and stir fry until cooked.
  2. Dissolve Coconut Milk Powder in 240 ml of hot water. Pour coconut milk into saucepan.
  3. Add roasted peanuts, potatoes and onion, bring to boil. Then lower the heat, simmer for 10 minutes or until well cooked. Keep stirring.
  4. Add Dried Spices (except Oxygen Absorber sachet, DO NOT EAT). A dash of fish sauce and sugar can be added, if desired. Serve hot.
